The images are catalogues annotated and cross-referenced for easy scholarly reference by the document conversion outsourcing professionals. A proprietary tagging scheme was developed, which is a modified version of Open eBook (OEB) standard.

The OEB standard is an international trade and standards organization for the electronic publishing industries. As the collection evolved over time, the text ranges from old handwritten to block print.
