P. Venkatraman is the founder CEO of Vital Link Outsourcing an International BPO with niche service offerings. A Visionary in the emerging area of BPO in India he founded Vital Link Outsourcing in 1998 and has been steering its growth path ever since.

He is also an Executive Director on the Board of Shell Transource Ltd, one of India’s leading domestic BPO’s with offices in 22 cities and a head count of more than 3000. He also holds non executive directorships in CalibeHR, an end to end HR outsourcing company and SteepLap Technologies, a full service Software / IT services company.

Venkat is an active member of leading organizations like The Computer Society of India, The IT Enabled Services of the Electronics and Software Export Promotion Council of the Ministry of Information Technology of the Government of India, The Bombay Management Association, The Bombay Chartered Accountants Society and others.

He is a ketch and a Mentor at the IIT, Bombay Campus for budding educates. He also teaches final year MBA students at the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.

Venkat lives in Mumbai and his family consists of his wife Varalakshmi who is a practicing solicitor and two sons who are still educating themselves. He is an avid long distance runner, an active Freemason and a Ham Radio operator.

Education: Graduated in Commerce from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics in the year 1975. After graduation pursued articleship with G.N.Joshi & Co. Chartered Accountants. During Articleship he was the member of the Students Council of Western India Regional Council. After passing Chartered Accountancy started practice in the name of N.S.Bhargava & Co.

Key Competencies: Mr. Bhargava, during the last 29 years has gained wide experience in the field of loan syndication, Merchant Banking, Management of Public issues etc. He is a regular contributor at CA, Income Tax and other seminars and has written various articles for magazines & newspapers. He is also the Promoter and Director of Shell Transource Ltd. (STL), one of India’s biggest Domestic BPO in the field of Transaction processing, which directly or indirectly employs about 3000 people.

Education: After having completed her Bachelors of Sciences (Chemistry) from Bombay University, Mrs Varalakshmi pursued her Bachelors of Law (L.L.B) from the Government Law College in Bombay. Having achieved a third rank in her L.L.B, she went on to be a Solicitor from The Bombay Incorporated Law Society.
